Some intuition tells me that true life is not a matter of acquiring more information.
And it's not a matter of sorting through (yet again!) the information already available to me.
And it's not even a matter of choosing between various competing, contradictary, and/or overlapping interpretations of the information, or interpretations of those interpretations, on and on, ad infinitum.
Nor is it a technical matter--do X in order to bring about results Y and Z.
So what is it?
I know, but I don't know. I don't know, but I know...
I'm listening...

It's all about love in the unique, Christian sense of the word: sacrificial self-giving, holding nothing back, expecting nothing in return, freely given; love as manifested in Jesus Christ. It's all about being "conformed to the image of the Son," which is our proper human destiny.
What it is, is time to read the Slavophiles, esp Khomiakov and Kireevsky. The took and anti-Cartesian view of epistimology and ontology to present a holistic philosophy where all knowledge is based on active incarnational faith. Welcome to Russian Orthodoxy :-)
Thank you, Anastasia!
Just have a tiny glimmer of what you are talking about so far...
Thank you, Ken!
Who are those guys? I look forward to reading them!
P.S. By "not respond" I think I meant "not ask infinite questions in response to," instead of "not respond at all"....sorry...!
